Distinction for physics manual "Zrozumieć świat"
The Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences decided to award our cycle of manuals "Zrozumieć świat". Podręcznik do fizyki dla gimnazjum, część I-IV" ["To understand the world. Physics manual for junior high school, part I-IV"] edited by Barbara Sagnowska. Thus we became the winner of distinctions of the Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2008.

Awards granted by the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences
In 2006 we received the Distinction of the Commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences for the Evaluation of School Manuals. The award was granted to our cycle of manuals "Chemia dla szkół ponadgimnazjalnych - zakres rozszerzony" ["Chemistry for upper secondary schools - extended scope"] by Michał M. Poźniczek and Zofia Kluz. The diploma presentation ceremony was held on 24th June 2006.

The best physics manual
„Fizyka dla gimnazjum” [Physics for secondary school] by Maria and Ryszard Rozenbajgier and Jerzy Kreiner has been recognised by the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences as the best physics school manual. The recognition of the independent Commission of PAU for the Evaluation of School Manuals was solemnly announced on 22^nd June 2002.
